Pearl is a mid-range dealer who fires cookies while building heat. The hotter she is, the more damage she deals, so the rhythm of attacking to keep heat up is the core of her firepower. But overheating reduces her damage, so heat management matters.
Her Super releases all built-up heat at once for an area blast around her. The higher the heat, the stronger the blast, so heating up fully then bursting on a cluster gives very high area damage. It is strong for clearing close enemies or peeling a diver.
Use the Overheat or Cookie gadgets to overheat or heal allies as needed, while the star power is a choice between Hot Shot to keep heat or Heat Shield for protection. Her heat blast shines most on Brawl Ball and Gem Grab maps with frequent close-to-mid fights.
