Guide
Shelly is the starter brawler every player begins with, yet her close-range firepower is top tier. Her shotgun spread lands every pellet at point-blank range, so the whole game plan is to close distance through bushes and around walls. At mid to long range the pellets scatter and her damage drops sharply, so avoid trading head-on with ranged brawlers in open ground.
Her Super, Super Shell, deals heavy area damage while knocking enemies back and destroying walls. It counters tank dives and strips away the cover of enemies hiding behind walls. Because hitting an enemy with the Super charges it back up, landing one in a close fight lets you chain into another.
For builds, the Clay Pigeons gadget for an instant speed boost helps you engage and retreat, while the Band-Aid star power, which reduces damage when low on health, is a safe default. She over-performs her pick rate in modes and maps with frequent close combat, such as the central bush areas of Gem Grab or Brawl Ball.
