Guide
Gene is a support-style dealer whose magic smoke shot splits radially if it misses. Because it spreads and deals damage even on a miss, he is strong at bush control and area pressure, steadily building damage at mid range. His raw burst isn't explosive, so he shines fighting alongside the team.
His Super, the Magic Hand, pulls a single hit enemy to Gene's position. It is a game-changing initiation tool that drags out a backline dealer or support for the team to focus down. It can also pull an endangered ally to safety, giving it wide utility.
The Lamp Blowout gadget, which knocks back nearby enemies to create space, helps survival, while the star power is a choice between Spirit Slap to threaten the area around a pulled enemy or Magic Puffs to widen the smoke split. He is especially valuable in Knockout and Bounty, where cutting one enemy creates a numbers advantage.
