Guide
Edgar is an aggressive assassin who heals himself with every punch landed. Because his Super charges automatically over time, the core pattern is to build the gauge and leap onto the enemy backline to hunt their dealers. But his low health and weakness to slows and crowd control mean a mistimed engage gets him cut down.
His Super leaps over all obstacles with a brief speed boost. It is an engage that instantly sticks to enemies over walls, and also an escape when in danger. Judgment matters: bait out the enemy's crowd control before diving, or dive together with teammates so a failed engage costs little.
The Let's Fly gadget for an instant jump is great for both engage and escape, while the Hardcore star power, which boosts attack speed to raise lifesteal, greatly improves 1v1 sustain. He is strong in Showdown with its variance, and in Knockout where diving the backline pays off.
