Willow is a mid-range dealer and controller who throws lanterns for damage over time. She pressures with single-target poke, but her real strength is the Super that controls an enemy. The core is holding a lane and watching for the moment to steal a key target.
Her Super fires a tadpole that fully heals and briefly mind-controls the hit enemy. Controlling the enemy's key dealer to fire on their teammates or walk into danger is a game-deciding control tool. A controlled enemy is effectively out of the fight, creating a numbers advantage.
Use the Spooky Charm or Submerge gadgets to hide or dive as needed, while the star power is a choice between Clouds of Love for lingering effects or Obsessed to strengthen the control. Her control shines most on Knockout and Gem Grab maps where stealing a key target matters.
