Doom Shroom

Based on our own Ranked-mode data, the strongest picks on Doom Shroom are Bolt (+27.7%p vs. average), Starr nova (+23.4%p) and Mico (+23.3%p). At the other end, Griff and Mandy underperform here badly enough that you should consider other picks.

Duo Showdown pits five teams of two, and the key difference from Solo is the respawn: as long as your partner is alive, you come back after a delay. One pick doesn't end the game — but a 2v1 is close to unwinnable for the shorthanded side.

Front-and-back pairings like tank plus ranged damage are the most stable. Power cubes are a shared team resource — feeding them to the close-range partner usually pays off more in fights — and avoid revenge-diving while your partner's respawn is ticking.

Third-partying two teams mid-fight is the single most profitable play in the mode. Track fights through sound and the map, and practice arriving only for the cleanup.
